Adam Irigoyen (“Deuce” on Disney’s Shake It Up)

At just 15 years old, actor, singer, rapper and dancer Adam Irigoyen loves to entertain. Born on August 5, 1997, this talented, bilingual Miami native moved to southern California at age 11 with his family and began his acting career, appearing in multiple commercials and print campaigns before guest-starring on the Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning series Wizards of Waverly Place, which eventually led to an audition for his current costarring role as Martin “Deuce” Martinez on Shake It Up, longtime friend to “CeCe” and “Rocky”, played by Bella Thorne and Zendaya. Adam has been nominated for several acting awards for his work on Shake it Up, including a 2012 ALMA Award for Favorite TV Actor – Supporting Role in a Comedy. He has also guest-starred in Charlie Shakes It UP, a first-ever Good Luck Charlie and a Shake It Up crossover event. He sang Show Ya How with Kenton Duty which is on the Shake It Up album, Live to Dance, and is also known for his popular single, School Girl. He has appeared in the indie films Flight, Nickel or Dime and Electric Natural Safe. Adam’s mom, dad and grandmother are all teachers, and his favorite subjects in school are math and history. He has two brothers and a sister, loves creating music, singing, dancing and learning new instruments, and enjoys traveling and playing basketball. One of his many goals is to work with Stan Lee and make a Marvel comic feature film.
