Calum Worthy


Calum Worthy is a young Canadian actor from British Columbia. At 22 years old, he has already appeared in over 50 film and television appearances in Canada, United States, Australia, England, and Singapore. His acting career began at age 9, however Calum knew that he wanted to act by the young age of 4. He guest starred in Fox’s Night Visions and the mini-series, I was a Rat. Calum was a series regular on HBO’s Out of Order and had recurring roles on several other television series such as The Days, Reunion, Psych, and Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel. His film work includes Stargate Atlantis, Flashpoint, Prepped, Kyle XY, Smallville, The Last Mimzy, Dr. DoLittle 3, Deck the Halls, and Stormworld. Calum won two Young Artist Awards for “Leading Young Actor” for his roles in National Lampoon’s Thanksgiving Family Reunion (2004) and Stormworld (2010). He also won “Best Leading Actor” in Canada’s Leo Awards in 2010 for Stormworld. His more recent work is in the Lionsgate film Rapturepalooza starring Craig Robinson, Anna Kendrick and Rob Corddry. Calum is perhaps best known as goofy video director “Dez,” Austin Moon’s loyal, funny best friend in Disney Channel’s comedy series, Austin & Ally. He attends college and enjoys making sketches with friends.
